Hesse: truck overturns at the interchange: connection blocked

Baunatal (dpa/lhe) - On Wednesday night, a truck overturned at the Kassel motorway junction and blocked the roadway. Around 200 liters of diesel leaked out, the police said. The 26-year-old driver was unharmed. He wanted to drive from the Autobahn 49 to the Autobahn 44 near Baunatal in the Kassel district. In the curve, the 26-year-old left the road for initially unknown reasons. Due to the salvage and cleaning work, the connection between the two highways was closed, it said early in the morning. The property damage is estimated by the investigators at around 85,000 euros.
