Neuental (dpa/lhe) - Unknown perpetrators blew up an ATM in the Schwalm-Eder district early Thursday morning and fled the scene. It was not initially clear whether they stole cash. According to the police, four masked perpetrators probably went to the ATM, which is located in a container on the site of a gas station in Neuental-Bischhausen. Both the machine and the container were severely damaged in the blast. The perpetrators fled in a gray car in an unknown direction.
The amount of property damage was initially unclear. The Homberg criminal police and the Hessian State Criminal Police Office began investigations. Witnesses were asked for information to the Kripo Homberg (Efze).
