Wiesbaden (dpa / lhe) - Third division soccer team SV Wehen Wiesbaden has missed the third win in a row. After the impressive 5-1 win at FC Erzgebirge Aue on the previous day, the hosts had to settle for a 1-1 (0-0) draw against VfL Osnabrück on Saturday. They were overwhelmingly superior over long stretches.
Kianz Froese (47th) scored for Wiesbaden. However, the Hessians did not make it 1-0 in time because Ba-Muaka Simakala equalized for the Osnabrück team. He benefited from a ball loss in the forward movement.
The guests played their first game after leaving coach Daniel Scherning, who switched to Arminia Bielefeld. In Wiesbaden, the VfL pros were looked after by interim coach Tim Danneberg.
