Firefighters from Hautes-Alpes were alerted at 11 AM on Saturday, June 4, for a traffic accident in Serres. A motorcycle doing an overtaking maneuver collided in front of a van travelling in the same direction, on the D1075 at Allee des Barillons.
The pilot and passenger of the two-wheeler suffered multiple injuries. They were both transported to Gap's hospital center. The van's seven occupants were uninjured. The rescue operation was carried out by 14 firefighters from Aspres-sur-Buech and Laragne.
