Eight months in jail for a woman who took 150 practical and theory tests to become a driver for another vehicle.

Inderjeet Kaur (29), from Llanelli in Carmarthenshire, has admitted to taking the tests between 2018-2020.

According to police, she was taking English tests.

Swansea Crown Court was notified that Kaur began to impersonate other people at the test centres. The police were also tipped off.

Kaur passed the tests in Swansea and Carmarthen as well as Birmingham, London, and London.

Steven Maloney, Det Ch Insp Steven Maloney stated that Kaur's crimes were motivated greed.

He stated that "frauds such like these pose significant risk to the public."

Caroline Hicks, Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency, stated that fraudulently obtained test passes can be cancelled.

She said, "Driving and theory testing exist to help people have the right knowledge, skills, and attitude to drive on our roads." It is dangerous to skip the tests.
