Court hears that Bushey man was killed after setting up honeytraps

After being set up in a honeytrap by three women, a man was killed in his own home.

Vishal Gohel (44), was found dead in his Bushey flat with gaffer tape covering his face in January.

St Albans Crown Court heard that he was promised a sexual relationship with the women, before three men entered the property.

Three men and three ladies deny murdering and killing each other.

They also denied conspiracy to rob before or on 23 January.

The male defendants include Tevin Leslie (21), of Hurst St, Brixton London, Sakeen Gorgon (20) of Uxbridge Road Ealing, Brandon Browne (21) of Laburnham Road Rochester, Kent.

Tiana Edwards Hancock (18), of Fresh Wharf Road Barking; Yarley Georgia BruceAnnan (20), of Harts Lane Barking; and Faith Hoppie (21), of Blake Avenue Barking.

Charlotte Newell, QC, the Prosecutor, stated that "the female defendants created an honeytrap."

"They promised him a sexual relationship that never took place.

"It allowed them access to the three male defendants, so they could burst into Vishal Gohel's unawares and steal his property."

According to the prosecutor, a post-mortem examination revealed that Mr. Gohel had suffered severe head injuries with internal bruising to his scalp and eyes as well as brain damage.

She claimed that efforts were made to clean the flat, and that an iPhone and an iWatch were taken.

The trial continues.
