"The epidemic is returning. So, I urge everyone to be alert" and for the elderly and vulnerable to get their "second booster" of vaccine. "It's crucial because there will be a great deal of mixing this year," stated the head of government for TF1, who just gave her general policy statement to National Assembly.
She insisted that the mask must be worn in enclosed spaces where there are many people. She clarified that "we don't intend to have any national obligation", as "the French know the right gestures".
Christian Estrosi, the mayor of Nice, asked Elisabeth Borne about her wearing of a mask in relation to the obligation it had to follow in public transport within the city.
According to data published by Public Health France Wednesday evening, the number of new Covid-19 contaminants has risen to 154.615 in the last 24 hours. This is a significant increase from the 206.554 reported the previous day.
