Kölpinsee (dpa / mv) - On the island of Usedom, a 15-year-old moped driver was seriously injured in a collision with a car. As a police spokesman said on Friday, the 15-year-old drove into a car on Thursday evening in Kölpinsee on federal highway 111, the main connecting road to the Baltic Sea island. The driver suddenly stopped because another vehicle had stopped in front of her to turn left. The 15-year-old came to a clinic in Greifswald.
The moped was totaled. Kölpinsee is located in the middle of the island of Usedom, where there are no alternative options due to the narrow strip between the Baltic Sea and the backwaters. The B111 was closed for almost an hour due to the accident and the recovery of the vehicles.
