Schwerin (dpa / mv) - In Schwerin, a cyclist and his vehicle got stuck in the tram rails and fell badly. As the police announced on Wednesday, the 74-year-old was driving his pedelec in the city center the day before when the accident happened to him. The man suffered serious head injuries in the fall. He was taken to the city hospital for treatment.
According to the police in Schwerin, the large number of similar accidents had prompted them to clarify the dangers on their social media channels. Pictures with a blue bike at the respective accident sites should raise awareness, it said.
