Gehlsbach (dpa / mv) - A senior citizen was allegedly attacked by a dog while walking in the Wahlstorf district of Gehlsbach (Ludwigslust-Parchim district). "The woman suffered several bite injuries on her upper body and head. She was then taken to a hospital," said the Ludwigslust Police Inspectorate on Wednesday. Details are not yet known.
According to the information, the 87-year-old victim can only partially remember the incident. A family member found the seriously injured woman. The hospital alerted the police.
According to police, traces were found at the scene of the incident that indicate a dog. It is being investigated on suspicion of negligent bodily harm.
