Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: drivers want to help: caught with 1.69 per mille

Stralsund (dpa / mv) - A 19-year-old driver wanted to help another driver with a breakdown in the Tribseer district of Stralsund and was caught by the police with a blood alcohol content of 1.69. The 19-year-old wanted to give a jump start and got into conversation with the other driver and his passengers, as the police announced late Sunday evening. During the conversation, they suspected that the 19-year-old was under the influence of alcohol and called the police, who confirmed the suspicion. The man's driver's license was revoked and further investigations are ongoing.
