Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: fire in the grain drying hall: nobody injured

Tessenow (dpa/mv) - A fire broke out in a grain drying plant in Tessenow (Ludwigslust-Parchim) on Monday. As a police spokesman said, according to initial findings, the fire started inside a 30-meter-long hall of the farm, in which grain was stored. Several fire brigades managed to prevent the flames from spreading to another adjacent grain store and a nearby biogas plant. However, the extinguishing work continued. According to initial investigations, a technical defect could have caused the fire. No one was injured and the extent of the damage is still unclear. The investigations were still ongoing.
