Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: Frontal collision: Three injured near Stralsund

Reinberg (dpa/mv) - Three people were injured in a car accident caused by a failure to give way near Reinberg (West Pomerania-Rügen). A 73-year-old driver wanted to turn left with the car on Tuesday, but overlooked an oncoming vehicle, a police spokesman said. The two cars collided head-on on federal highway 105. The person who caused the accident and the 69-year-old driver of the other car were seriously injured. The passenger of the 69-year-old was also injured. All those involved came to hospitals. The road was closed for around three hours.
