The insolvency administrator Christoph Morgen had only announced that several options for "Global One" were being worked on and that talks were being held with several interested parties. A prefabricated building in Wismar is still the preferred solution. However, there are still no binding contracts with a buyer.
In the event that the more than 340 meter long ship is completed in Wismar, the Meyer shipyard in Papenburg, Lower Saxony, is in talks about taking over the management of this work. The transfer company for the insolvent MV Werften Group was recently extended by one month until the end of November. The MV shipyards in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania filed for bankruptcy on January 10 of this year.
