Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: Greifswald promotes climate protection expenditure

Greifswald (dpa/mv) - Clubs, kindergartens or private households can apply to the city of Greifswald for money for investments in climate protection. The city announced on Friday that the purchase of a cargo bike or the replacement of a gas, oil or coal heating system with heat pumps will be subsidized with up to 1000 euros. For the new construction of a green roof or a facade greening, there are up to 2000 euros. Educational work is also eligible. The total budget is 50,000 euros.
