Rostock (dpa/mv) - Strongly held, but blundered in the decisive scene: With a major goalkeeper mistake, Markus Kolke paved the way for 1. FC Kaiserslautern to a 2-0 (0-0) win at FC Hansa Rostock. The 32-year-old Hansa keeper and captain let a harmless header from Terrence Boyd slip through his hands and legs on Friday evening (67th minute). With his seventh goal of the season, this time after a lapse by defender Rick van Drongelen, Boyd (82nd) made Hansa's fourth home defeat this season perfect.
"It is the tragedy of this game that two players, Markus Kolke and Rick van Drongelen, who played really well, started the defeat with their individual mistakes," judged Hansa coach Jens Härtel.
The bitter 0:1 was particularly annoying when Kolke, who had made a positive impression with several strong saves, had a short blackout. "A goal like that changes the character of a game. It gave Kaiserslautern more security. We tried everything again with the changes, but unfortunately that didn't work today," explained the 53-year-old Hansa coach.
