Rostock (dpa/mv) - Because of a lost Euro pallet on the federal highway 103, seven vehicles were so damaged on Tuesday that they could no longer drive. The damage to the wheels was so great that all of these cars had to be recovered by towing companies, the police said in the evening. The accidents happened on the western access road between the Reutershagen and Kritzmow junctions (Rostock district) in the direction of travel to the A20.
According to initial findings, a vehicle from the Rostock district had lost the unsecured Euro pallet in the left lane. The damage was estimated at around 10,000 euros. Investigations to determine who caused the accident are ongoing.
