Rostock (dpa/mv) - At the end of September, Rostock is to be the scene of one of the largest police exercises in the country's history. In the night from September 26th to 27th, 2022, up to 1000 officers from the federal and state police would train for emergencies, the police headquarters in Rostock announced on Friday. The location of the event will therefore be the main station.
The scenario is about the endangerment of people's lives by one or more armed perpetrators. The police and emergency services have revised their deployment plans in view of the events of the past few years at home and abroad. We will provide detailed information about the exercise in the coming days.
Possible timetable changes, cancellations and diversions would also be communicated in good time by Deutsche Bahn and Rostocker Strassenbahn AG.
