Schwerin (dpa / mv) - With daily temperatures of no more than zero degrees, permafrost is announced in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in the coming days. According to the German Weather Service (DWD), snow showers are to be expected in many parts of the country on Sunday and at the beginning of the week. The amount of precipitation varies greatly from region to region; locally up to ten centimeters of fresh snow are possible. On Sunday afternoon, the onset of winter hit the area around Rostock in particular. At night, temperatures drop to five degrees below zero and, due to the freezing wet, there is a risk of black ice in many places.
