Schwerin (dpa/mv) - Stormy weather is expected in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania on Friday. According to forecasts by the German Weather Service (DWD), there will be gusts of wind and storms with wind speeds of between 55 and 70 kilometers per hour from midday, and gusts of wind with up to 85 kilometers per hour on the coasts. From the afternoon, isolated heavy gusts of wind with wind speeds of up to 95 kilometers per hour are possible, in the evening on the coast there are also isolated gale-force gusts of around 105 kilometers per hour.
It is overcast and rainy, in the evening it will be largely rain-free. The daily maximum temperatures are between eight and twelve degrees. In the night to Saturday the wind is slowly decreasing, but there will be further gusts of wind and storms in Western Pomerania and on the coasts on Saturday morning. At first it will be cloudy over the weekend, partly with precipitation. It loosens up on Sunday.
