Magdeburg (dpa/sa) - It's going to be rainy in Saxony-Anhalt for the weekend. As reported by the German Weather Service, the wind will pick up on Friday, become stormy in the Harz Mountains and can even reach hurricane strength on the Brocken. At ten to thirteen degrees it is overcast and it rains at times. Five to new grades are expected in the Harz Mountains.
On Saturday it will continue to rain at times at nine to eleven degrees. A strong westerly wind is blowing with hurricane-like gusts on the Brocken. In the Harz Mountains, temperatures will rise to six to nine degrees. Above 400 meters the rain will turn to snow on Sunday. During the day the clouds give way to the sun. According to the forecast, temperatures will drop to six to eight degrees, in the Harz Mountains between two and six degrees.
