Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: Submission of abuse reports in the church in Mecklenburg

Schwerin (dpa / mv) - An expert report from the University Hospital Ulm on sexual abuse in the Catholic Church in Mecklenburg between 1946 and 1989 will be presented today (11 a.m.) in Schwerin. In February 2020, the Archdiocese of Hamburg commissioned the medical director of the clinic for forensic psychiatry and psychotherapy at the University Hospital Ulm, Manuela Dudeck, with the processing and documentation of the sexual abuse of Catholic priests and others in the service of the church. The three-year work is now complete. In an interim conclusion, Dudeck spoke of cases of abuse in November 2022 that left speechless.
