Near Toulouse, a family finds part of a plane in their garden

This is one of the most surprising discoveries made by a family from Daux near Toulouse when they returned home. In his garden was an aircraft part belonging to Airbus, as confirmed by the manufacturer, who specified that an internal investigation had been launched "to understand the reasons for this incident".

The piece, found on November 19, measures one meter by 50 centimeters, said the mayor of Daux, Patrice Lagorce, interviewed by La Dépêche du midi which reveals this information. The latter himself carried out investigations to find the origin of the plane wreckage thanks to the Flightradar24 website which provides real-time information on the flight of commercial or private planes, explains the daily.

"I realized that the only flights that had flown over the neighborhood were test flights, so the next day I sent a letter to Airbus to inform them of the accident and to ask for an explanation. They told me that the DGAC (General Directorate of Civil Aviation) had opened an investigation", explains Patrick Lagorce.

This anecdote, which did not fail to worry the inhabitants of the town, echoes another problem: that of the noise generated by the planes. And for good reason, since last May, a new trajectory brings air traffic closer to Daux. However, the house where the piece of the Airbus was found is not on this trajectory.
