Dortmund (dpa / lnw) - After a violent confrontation with an 18-year-old who was injured by a knife in downtown Dortmund, the criminal police are investigating. The young man was with another 18-year-old in front of a kiosk when one of the two dropped a beer bottle, the police said on Monday. As a result, around eight to ten people left the kiosk and hit the young men, with a currently unknown perpetrator injuring one of them with a knife.
The 18-year-old was hospitalized after the incident on Friday evening, but his life was not in danger. Police are investigating aggravated assault and are looking for witnesses.
