North Rhine-Westphalia: 3.5 per thousand: truck driver flees from the parking lot

Wilnsdorf (dpa / lnw) - A suspected drunk truck driver damaged a car at a truck stop on Autobahn 45 (Frankfurt-Dortmund) when reversing. The 46-year-old then fled in Wilnsdorf on foot, as the police in the Siegen-Wittgenstein district announced on Monday. Officers discovered him in a bush at the edge of the parking lot. A breath alcohol test showed a value of 3.5 per thousand. The police took his driver's license away and locked his vehicle in place with a parking clamp.
