Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - The Wersten tunnel on the Autobahn 46 near Düsseldorf will be completely closed this weekend. According to Autobahn GmbH, the reason for the closure is extensive maintenance of all technical equipment in the 865-meter-long tunnel, which was built in the mid-1980s.
The closure applies in both directions from Saturday (4 p.m.) to Monday (5 a.m.). Detours will be set up during the lockdown. Coming from Wuppertal, a detour marked with a red dot leads in the direction of Heinsberg via the Düsseldorf-Holthausen junction. In the direction of Wuppertal, the detour is marked with a red dot at the Düsseldorf-Bilk junction.
