Essen (dpa / lnw) - The wet Saturday will be followed by two largely dry days in North Rhine-Westphalia. Before the weather calms down, according to the forecast of the German Weather Service (DWD), there will be showery rain in NRW on Saturday until late in the evening, which can be heavy locally with water volumes of up to 35 liters per square meter. With maximum temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees Celsius, isolated thunderstorms with strong gusts of wind of up to 55 kilometers per hour are also possible.

Fog fields with visibility below 150 meters can form on Sunday night. During the day it will remain mostly dry with changing clouds with loosening up. The start of the week will be mostly sunny with temperatures between 23 and 26 degrees Celsius. On Monday there are only thin veil clouds and cumulus clouds in the course of the day. But on the night of Tuesday, cloud and rain are already moving in from the west.
