Bonn/Bornheim (dpa/lnw) - An alarm went off at a high school in Bornheim near Bonn on Tuesday morning. The Bonn police went to the school in the Roisdorf district with a larger contingent and searched the building complex after the evacuation of children and teaching staff, said a police spokesman on request.
On site - even after consultation with the school management - there were no signs of a dangerous situation. No suspicious persons were found in the school building or on the school grounds. "We are very careful and prefer to play it safe," said the police spokesman. The officials had previously informed about the operation on Twitter.
