Erftstadt (dpa / lnw) - When evading an oncoming car, a bus in Erftstadt landed in a bush on the side of the road. In the accident on the L33, three people were slightly injured on Monday, including the bus driver, as a police spokesman said in the evening. The man, like a second person, was taken to the hospital, and the third person received medical treatment on site.
The vehicle had previously been on the L33 between the Friesheim and Erp districts. According to the first findings of the investigators, for an initially unclear reason, it avoided an oncoming car, left the road and finally came to a standstill in a bush. The pictures showed that the bus had sunk deep into the bushes at a slight angle.
The driver of the oncoming car drove on without stopping, so it was determined because of the traffic accident escape. In addition, the tachograph of the bus is now being examined. Further details were not initially known.
