Cologne (dpa / lnw) - In a public women's toilet in Cologne, a user discovered spy cameras disguised as coat hooks. The cameras turned on automatically when there was movement in the cabins, the Cologne police reported on Tuesday. Women were filmed in the cabins and the scenes were recorded on memory cards.
How long the cameras have been hanging in the toilet is still unclear. Investigators are asking for information from witnesses who may have observed something suspicious. The memory cards cannot be read wirelessly. They had to be changed or read out on site.
