North Rhine-Westphalia: car rams pedestrian: woman seriously injured

Hamm (dpa / lnw) - A passer-by was hit by a car while crossing a street in Hamm-Herringen and was seriously injured. The 49-year-old was able to catch herself on the bonnet in the accident on Friday evening, the police said. Accordingly, the car had hit the pedestrian when turning left. The woman was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
