Cologne (dpa / lnw) - Investigators have arrested a suspect 35 years after a murder attempt in Cologne. This was announced by the public prosecutor and the police in Cologne.
A 56-year-old was arrested on Tuesday for attempted robbery and murder. In May 1987 he is said to have fatally injured a then 50-year-old man in Cologne-Ehrenfeld.
The victim survived the act, but died in 2013. How the investigators managed to break through in this case after 35 years, they want to explain this Wednesday.
