North Rhine-Westphalia: young people attack prostitutes: robbery series cleared up

Wuppertal (dpa / lnw) - Young people are said to be responsible for a series of robberies on prostitutes in Solingen, Wuppertal and Hagen. The Wuppertal public prosecutor's office reported on Tuesday that they were said to have arranged appointments as alleged freelancers, visited the prostitutes' apartments and then secretly let accomplices in.

The young robbers then proceeded against the women with considerable violence and using stabbing weapons and firearms. Jewelry, mobile phones and cash were stolen from the victims.

Four youths aged 16 and 17 were arrested on Tuesday. In addition, the homes of the accused and those of six other co-accused were searched. In addition to the alleged murder weapons, valuables were also found, which are likely to be loot.

In addition, the young people are said to have attacked a passenger in a bus that was traveling from Herne to Bochum.

It is the second success of the investigative commission "Date" in a few weeks. The investigators had already cleared up a series of robberies about a month ago. At that time, three 24, 27 and 28-year-old men were arrested. They are charged with four robberies of prostitutes in Wuppertal and Cologne.
