Münster (dpa / lnw) - A family house in Münster was destroyed by a fire. Three people left the house on Tuesday night, according to a spokesman for the fire department in Münster. The fire started in the basement and reportedly spread to the attic. A firefighter collapsed from the heat and was taken to a hospital, sources said. The fire brigade gave up work inside the house because of the development of the fire and fought it from the outside. The neighboring houses were evacuated.
Because of the smoke development, the fire brigade had temporarily asked residents via a warning app to keep windows and doors closed. The "Westfälische Nachrichten" had previously reported.
