Dortmund (dpa / lnw) - After a collision on the A45 near Dortmund, drivers standing in a traffic jam are said to have turned around in order to drive back and not have to wait any longer. After the incident on Sunday night, the police have testimonies about risky situations and photos, officials said. Criminal proceedings have been initiated.
The traffic jam was formed after a car collided with a broken-down car. A 33-year-old got off the road with his car in a long right-hand bend for initially unknown reasons and collided with the car of a 40-year-old on the hard shoulder.
The 33-year-old was seriously injured. The 40-year-old and two young women suffered minor injuries. They were waiting for roadside assistance in the broken-down vehicle.
