North Rhine-Westphalia: Four cats from Langenfeld win "Petfluencer Award"

Cologne (dpa / lnw) - Cat experts and cat fans have chosen the most successful house tiger in social networks in Cologne. The cats Fritz, Frederic, Kleine and Lissy from Langenfeld in the Rhineland won the title "Petfluencer of the Year". Their owner Nils Jacobi provides his fans with photos and videos of his darlings on the TikTok and Instagram channels. The audience award went to Jessica Lorente from Euskirchen and her kittens Michu and Nela.

For the first time in the nationwide competition, there was the category "Purpose Award of the Year", in which the commitment to animal welfare is recognized. For example, Carolin Rebmann from Stuttgart uses the range of her profiles to present her two kittens with a handicap.

Petfluencer - Pet is the English word for pet - like influencers, let their fans participate in their lives via social media accounts and advertise all sorts of things. The protagonists are animals, in this case cats. But there is also a prize for dogs.
