Duisburg (dpa / lnw) - After attacks on emergency services on New Year's Eve in Duisburg, the police identified three suspects. According to the investigators on Wednesday, an 18-year-old is now in custody. He is considered a ringleader and is said to have shot New Year's Eve rockets at officials and a patrol car from a group. He is being prosecuted for, among other things, bodily harm, breach of the peace and physical attacks on law enforcement officers and causing an explosive explosion. According to the report, the adolescent is known to the police and was recognized by officers who were familiar with the scene.

Investigations are also underway against two young people aged 15 and 16. They are said to have attacked firefighters and rescue vehicles.
