Essen (dpa / lnw) - After the predominantly friendly weather this week so far, it will be uncomfortable in some places at the weekend. From Saturday morning, a low pressure area over the British Isles will determine the weather in North Rhine-Westphalia.
According to the German weather service, Saturday will be mostly cloudy with showers and highs of up to 25 degrees. In the course of the day, individual thunderstorms with heavy rain, hail and stormy gusts are possible from the Eifel. The potential for showers and thunderstorms decreases towards the north.
Showers and thunderstorms will subside again on Sunday night. It remains largely free of precipitation. The temperatures then reach 25 to 28 degrees again.
