Monheim (dpa / lnw) - The series of fires in Monheim continued last weekend with three arson attacks on cars. Meanwhile, the police have a description of the alleged arsonist. It could be a man up to 20 years old with short, blond hair, the officials said on Monday.
A witness observed the man, who was wearing gray sweatpants, suspiciously leaving the scene of a fire. There have been fires in Monheim for weeks: first there were rubbish bins and waste paper containers, then cars. The police now count 20 vehicle fires in the affected area of Berlin. The property damage is estimated at a mid five-digit sum.
