North Rhine-Westphalia: state protection determined: did activists let air out of tires?

Wuppertal (dpa / lnw) - Suspected environmental activists are said to have let air out of the tires of at least 31 cars - mainly SUVs - in Wuppertal. They left a kind of confession letter on the windshield, a police spokesman said on Monday. The state security is switched on because the action is possibly politically motivated. The letters refer to the location of Lützerath at the Garzweiler lignite mine, which is occupied by activists. Several media had reported on the incident over the weekend.
