Location (dpa / lnw) - Criminal case with slapstick insert: A suspected car cracker fell in the Lippe district while escaping. The man initially broke into a van in Lage early on Sunday morning and stole two saws, the police reported on Monday. During the search, he was then discovered by a police officer with a service dog. He then threw away his stolen goods and fled - but didn't get far. "As he ran away, the man hit his head on a bollard and fell to the ground," the police report said. He was arrested with minor injuries.
