North Rhine-Westphalia: Three robberies in one night in Cologne: the police are looking for witnesses

Cologne (dpa / lnw) - During a robbery through Cologne, two men are said to have threatened a passer-by with a gun between Friday and Saturday around midnight, and attacked a pizzeria and a kiosk. The police do not rule out a connection between the three acts and are looking for witnesses. According to a statement, the suspects wore face masks or balaclavas.

A duo threatened a young woman at gunpoint at a bus stop and demanded that she withdraw money from an ATM. When the woman got up and walked away without a word, the men fled without taking anything.

A little later, two masked men are said to have attacked a pizzeria and threatened the owner. He managed to escape through a window. The perpetrators stole cash.

Shortly thereafter, a third robbery occurred that night. This time, two masked men stole cash, cigarettes and alcohol from a kiosk and fled undetected. They, too, were described similarly to the previous cases. One is said to have had a sports bag with a colorful logo with him. Police officers secured a stun gun in the kiosk.
