Kamp-Lintfort (dpa / lnw) - A truck loaded with 25 tons of flour overturned at the Kamp-Lintfort motorway junction and spread its load across the road. When operating materials leaked from the truck, the fire brigade quickly took the flour packs to catch the diesel and oil. The truck apparently drove too fast on Thursday and with a poorly secured load through the curve from the A42 to the A57, the police said. The trailer overturned and the bursting bags of flour were scattered across the street.
The connecting lane from the Ruhr area in the direction of the Netherlands was blocked for hours. The driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
