Dortmund (dpa / lnw) - A mentally disturbed woman is said to have tried to stab a 19-year-old on the street in Dortmund. The 29-year-old suspect first started an argument and then stabbed the young man with a knife, police and prosecutors reported on Monday.
The 19-year-old accidental victim suffered life-threatening injuries on Saturday evening, but was saved by an emergency operation. The 29-year-old was later arrested in her apartment.
The victim was able to film the attacker with her cell phone. On the recordings, the police recognized the woman who lived near the scene of the crime and then also secured "crime equipment" in her apartment during the search. The police are still looking for witnesses to the bloody deed.
