Cologne (dpa / lnw) - Three suspects aged 12 and 14 are said to have thrown stones from a bridge onto Autobahn 3 near Cologne. The police said on Monday that nine cars had paint damage or minor cracks on the windshield. The drivers were not injured.
Police officers caught the two 14-year-olds on Sunday after a short escape and later handed them over to their parents. One of them was quite talkative, said a police spokesman. The third stone thrower came to a guard with his parents. The police are investigating whether the trio is responsible for other crimes.
