Hagen (dpa / lnw) - A 14-year-old teenager is said to have seriously injured an 18-year-old with a knife in Hagen. The older teenager met two acquaintances of the 14-year-old and another teenager and a dispute broke out, the police and the public prosecutor's office in Hagen announced on Thursday. The 14-year-old then hit the 18-year-old with a knife in the upper body. There was initially no further information about the background, the relationship between the two and the exact course of the crime.
The 14-year-old suspect fled after the incident on Wednesday, but was arrested soon after. It will be checked whether he will be brought before a magistrate. The injured 18-year-old was taken to the hospital. A homicide detective is investigating attempted manslaughter.
