Terry McLaurin, Commanders wide receiver, held a press conference on Wednesday to discuss his new contract and also talk about the new quarterback.
McLaurin's success with 2022 will depend on how Carson Wentz performs in his first year as a Washington Duck. The duo didn't have time to work together this spring due to McLaurin being away from the team during the contract negotiations. McLaurin stated to reporters that he will next meet with Wentz for training sessions before the start of training camp at the end the month.
Ron Rivera, head coach, believes it will make a positive difference for his team.

McLaurin stated that he hopes to build a strong connection with Wentz so that Wentz can "trust me not only as a player but also as a person". This would be a positive development for the Commanders offense.
