Magdeburg (dpa/sa) - On Friday, the Ministry of Justice honored four arbitrators from Saxony-Anhalt for their many years of commitment as mediators. "I congratulate Christel Eckert, Frank Herbsleb, Lothar Braune and Hans-Joachim Gottschling and at the same time express my sincere thanks with the greatest respect and appreciation," said Minister Franziska Weidinger (CDU).

The arbitrators have been working uninterruptedly on a voluntary basis for 30 years and have been awarded the state's badge of honour. According to the information, it was the first time since reunification that arbitrators in Saxony-Anhalt were honored for their 30 years of voluntary work.
