Saxony: color attack on the Russian Consulate General in Leipzig

Leipzig (dpa / sn) - Unknown people have attacked the Russian Consulate General in Leipzig. Several glass bottles with yellow and blue paint were thrown at the building late Thursday evening, the State Criminal Police Office announced on Friday. The paint caused damage to the wall and the gate of the consulate in a previously unknown amount. Because a political background could not be ruled out, the extremism unit PTAZ in the State Criminal Police Office took over the investigation. The police are looking for witnesses who can provide information about what happened.
