Magdeburg (dpa/sa) - "Last generation" climate activists blocked commuter traffic in Magdeburg on Monday morning. As a spokeswoman for the group said, six people blocked federal highway 1 in the center of the city. Several of them would have glued themselves to the road. The police in Magdeburg confirmed the action.
According to the "Last Generation", there were climate protests in five other German cities on Monday morning. This was intended to denounce "the deadly failure of the federal government in the climate emergency".
